Total Solar Eclipse in 2024 – A “Do Not Miss” Event

by | May 27, 2019 | Eclipses

When the moon’s shadow passes in front of light cast by the sun, some of the sunlight gets blocked. Sometimes (and this is rare) people in certain locations get to see the sun suddenly go dark and everything become still. It is an eerie feeling and witnessing this strange phenomenon is something special. The total solar eclipse of 2024 is much anticipated, and you should plan to be there if possible. Here are some good reasons to see this event.

It is Rare

Solar eclipses do not happen often, and complete eclipses are even rarer. Yet, they may not seem so rare, because total ellipses happen about every year and a half. However, the odds you are in a good viewing area in the US are not so good. For instance, many people in North America got to see the Great 2017 Eclipse, but the next one with good viewing areas is not until the total solar eclipse coming on April 8, 2024. Total eclipses may not be as rare as Haley’s Comet, but once every seven years is pretty rare.

Something to Remember

Do you remember watching a total eclipse of the sun as a child? It probably is etched into your memory. Unforgettable experiences are special, and when you share this with family and friends, they are extremely special. Everything is enhanced and improved when shared with those you love.

Can I See it at Home?

Viewing area for the total solar eclipse of 2024 is vast in North America. You can get a good view in Texas and all the way to the state of Maine. Even parts of Mexico and Canada are included. Why not schedule a party or gathering centered on the eclipse? You can order custom viewing glasses to commemorate the event.
