Cost-Effective Odor Control Systems

With more and more emphasis on controlling odors in and around urban or suburban areas, there is a greater need across a wider range of industries specifically for odor control systems.

Options to Consider

There are several different options to consider from air or bio-scrubbers through to filtration systems and chemical scrubbing of the air. There is also the option to use an absorption type of system where the air is pulled through activated carbon or other types of specialized media to remove the chemical molecules from the air that are creating the problem.

However, the biggest issue with any of this technology is the cost factor. Not only are these systems expensive to purchase, but they are often costly to operate. Additionally, there will be a significant amount of maintenance in the system and they are flexible to allow then to scale up should your need for odor removal increase or change over time.

The Cost-Effective Answer

Purchasing and installing a misting or fogging system in any type of treatment facility, processing or treatment plant can offer highly effective odor control systems. Unlike the other type of options, these systems do not need power at every fogging head, rather just a pump to create the necessary pressure in the lines.

These odor control systems are extremely flexible and can be designed to work in any type of structure and any configuration. When additional odor control capacity is needed either indoors or out, there is the option to use a fog cannon that creates a directed stream of fog over both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Using water to carry the odor controlling chemicals is also a simple way to provide a low-cost delivery system. With the high pressure in the lines, there is limited if any maintenance, keeping the cost of long-term operation of these systems incredibly low.
