A cubicle curtain is also known as a hospital curtain. It is a piece or pieces of material used in a medical facility to separate patients from each other. It creates a separate room, therefore allowing a certain amount of privacy that would otherwise not be possible. In order to be permitted in a medical facility, the curtain must be comprised of specific material. Cubicle curtain fabric needs to be treated in a specific fashion before it is allowed to be placed within medical institutions.

Purposes of Cubical Curtains

What a cubicle curtain does is partly responsible for its make-up. The positioning of the curtain dictates specifically what type of properties the cubicle curtain must possess. • Creating more space
  • Increase privacy for treatment
  • Prevent infections – this is one potential associated with specific types of cubical curtain fabric and may be called bio-active curtains
